WELCOME

My name is Katherine Magoulick and I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. I am a member of the Marshall Lab and work in the UC Museum of Paleontology

​

I am a paleoecologist interested in mammal migrations throughout the past 66 million years. My current research focus is on the Great American Biotic Interchange. I am interested in the filters that affect migrations.

Prior to coming to Berkeley I received my B.S. in Zoology and my B.A. in History from Michigan State University. As an undergraduate I worked in the
